The Engagement Officer will play a vital role in bringing the SDS Engagement Plan to life across Scotland, helping to create meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities to participate and progress in sport and physical activity.

Reporting to the Engagement Manager, the post holder will help participants access local opportunities while supporting the design, development and delivery of an inspiring annual programme of high-quality events. This will include the SDS National Championships and a range of engagement events delivered in partnership with local and national organisations.

As a key member of the SDS staff team, the Engagement Officer will work closely with colleagues and partners to support the successful delivery of the SDS Strategic Plan and help strengthen engagement across communities.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent planning, organisational, communication, and IT skills, who is confident working both independently and collaboratively in a busy, varied, and purpose-driven environment.
