Glasgow 2026

The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will take place from 23rd July to 2nd August 2026.

It’s the second time that Glasgow will host a Commonwealth Games – the only third city in history to host a Games twice.

Glasgow 2026 will showcase a fully integrated Para sport programme across six of ten sports: Para athletics, Para swimming, Para bowls, Para powerlifting, Para track cycling and 3×3 wheelchair basketball.

Furthermore, there will be 47 medals events in Para disciplines – setting a new Commonwealth Games record.

Team Scotland is made up of 36 Para athletes, with representation in every Para sport.
