We aim to support people in Scotland to be active every day. Walking, for most people, is the easiest and most accessible way to do this.
We help create inclusive opportunities for everyone to walk and wheel. We believe that everyone in Scotland, no matter who they are or where they live, should benefit from walking Everyone, Everyday, Everywhere.
Health Walks are a supportive and welcoming way for you to start to enjoy the many benefits of being physically active. We support a network of community Health Walk providers all over Scotland that organise free group walks every week and are always looking for new people to join in.
A Health Walk is led by a trained volunteer, it is less than an hour long and welcomes new walkers who would benefit from being more active. The groups are friendly, regular and there is an opportunity to meet new people in your area and explore places you might not have been before.
You’re guaranteed a warm welcome and a walk and wheel at a pace and length that suits you whatever your ability.
