On the evening of Tuesday 22nd January in the Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre, the first meeting of the Board of Charity Trustees of the new Disability Sport Fife (SCIO) was held.
With support from Fife Voluntary Action, Disability Sport Fife has become a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) with a new constitution that was approved at the 2018 DSF Annual General Meeting.
The new constitution was submitted to the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and following minor changes and an Extraordinary General Meeting of DSF in November, approved by OSCR. The new charity number for DSF (SCIO) is SCO48722.
The members of the Board of Charity Trustees for DSF (SCIO) are as follows:
Richard Brickley MBE – Chairman and Trustee
Paul Noble MBE – Treasurer and Trustee
Maureen McSeveney – Lead Officer Safeguarding and Trustee
Pamela Robson – Trustee
Carolyn Clunie – Trustee
Mark Gaffney of Scottish Disability Sport also attended the first meeting of the Board of Charity Trustees.
There are four categories of membership but only two have voting rights. Memberships will be finalised at the second meeting of the Board of Charity Trustees and published thereafter.
