Congratulations to the many walkers with additional support needs, volunteers and significant others who participated in the 10th GOGA in Fife inclusive Walk in the Park at the Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy.
This was one of the most successful walks to date aimed at encouraging inactive individuals to participate in active recreation inclusively. All participants were awarded a GOGA in Fife participation certificate signed by a GOGA in Fife team member or their school head teacher.
Some participants used the walk as part of the GOGA in Fife pedometer programme that is helping to encourage registered GOGA in Fife participants to walk daily. This programme has been supported by GOGA investment in Fife from Spirit of 2012. GOGA in Fife acknowledges the advice and encouragement it has received from local partner Fife Council (Bums off Seats) and national partner Paths for All.
