Glasgow Life has para cycling track sessions available at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
Para cycling sessions are dedicated coaching sessions for riders with physical and learning disabilities who want to keep fit and develop their skills and technique through coached sessions.
Do you know of someone who has a visual impairment and is interested in cycling? We have also recruited several tandem pilots to support tandem riding.
Sessions are one hour long, limited spaces available!

Wednesday 1-2pm or 2-3pm
- August 22nd or 29th
- September 5th, 12th, 19th or 26th
- October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th or 31st
- November 7th, 14th or 28th
- December 5th, 12th or 19th
Thursday 6-7pm or 7-8pm
- August 16th or 30th
- September 13th or 27th
- October 11th or 25th
- November 8th
- December 6th or 20th
Saturday 3-4pm
- August 25th
- September 8th or 22nd
- October 6th or 20th
- November 3rd or 17th
- December 15th or 29th
Solo riders >4 riders per hour maximum, tandem stokers (on the back!) >6 riders per hour maximum.
On Thursday evenings the session are busy and we try to run them as follows: new and beginner riders 6-7pm; regular and experienced riders 7-8pm.
Sessions are very popular already and require advance booking.
