Balwearie HS pupils have won the Disability Sport Fife senior 7s football tournament for the past five years but a tenacious and talented Madras College/Bell Baxter combined team pulled off the surprise of the year to win the senior trophy for the first time by only one point. Alex Evans from Balwearie HS and Josh Gibson from Madras College shared the “top scorer” honours with 6 goals each.

Lochgelly HS pupils won the junior (S1/S2) tournament with 21 points and newcomers Queen Anne HS made an impact in their first year of competing by finishing runners up. Ryan Baird from Lochgelly HS was top scorer.

DSF is indebted to the Scottish FA for continued support of football development in Fife and for his interest and encouragement. DSF has entered into partnership with Glenrothes Strollers Football Club and Fife Sports and Leisure Trust to provide football coaching at the Michael Woods Sports & Leisure Centre, Glenrothes on Saturday mornings 09.00-10.00 hrs.
